Thank you for thinking of St. Francis Thrift Shop for your donation!

Donation Guidelines

We accept drop-off of donations Tuesday through Saturday from 9am- 1pm at the rear of the building.

Items need to be:

  • Clean
  • In Working Condition
  • Odor Free
  • Ready for Immediate Resell

  To Request a Furniture Pickup

We are happy to pick up your donations Tuesday through Saturday.  Please text the following information to 843-384-4852:

  • Photos of items you wish to donate
  • Include your name and contact phone number
  • Address where the items are located
  • Let us know if there are any stairs, elevators, gates, or other access considerations at the pickup location 
  • Date you need the donated item picked up by

Once your donation is approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a pickup date.

  • Small Electronics in working condition
  • Bikes and Sporting Equipment

  • Sleeper Sofas
  • Cribs, Car seats
  • Large Appliances (washer, dryer, stoves)
  • Broken or damaged items
  • Soiled clothing and linens
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Hardwired Fixtures
  • Building Materials
  • Bed Pillows
  • Rugs
  • Ceiling Fan (unless new in box)
  • Printers
  • Old Thick Panel TVs

Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment. The recycle centers are only for Beaufort County residents.

If you have items we cannot accept, many materials can still be responsibly recycled through local recycling centers and specialty collection programs. Please contact your local recycling facility for current guidelines and accepted items.
