Mission Statement: The St. Francis Thrift Shop shall be a model Outreach Ministry that benefits the Community, St. Francis School, and Parish.
The name of the organization shall be the St. Francis Thrift Shop. The St. Francis Thrift Shop, founded in 1999, is a parish Ministry and is a not-for-profit, tax exempt Ministry operating under the auspices of the Bishop of Charleston as a Corporation solely for the benefit of St. Francis-by-the-Sea Catholic Church. The St. Francis Thrift Shop shall be operated in accordance with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church as interpreted by the Bishop of Charleston. As a parish Ministry, the Pastor is responsible for proper administration of the Thrift Shop.

2026 Grant Program
St. Francis Thrift Shop proudly announces the 2026 Grant Program, which supports nonprofit organizations and community outreach initiatives throughout Hilton Head Island and the Greater Bluffton area.
The application process for 2026 is closed, and awardee selections will be announced September 2026.

Donations accepted at the rear of the building. Please drive around to the back of the building, and a volunteer will help you unload your donations.
We cannot accept donations at the front door.
